AMS-STD-595A Fan Deck

VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY.

AMS-STD-595 will eventually replace FED-STD-595 as the definitive color reference for government procurement, but both are currently in active use during what will be a multi-year transitional period.  This is the latest version of the SAE standard.

The AMS-STD-595A Fan Deck is supplied as a pair of fan decks.  The first is 10 x 2 inches in size, containing 66 pages of samples, each sample being 2-inches by 0.625 inches.  The second Supplemental Fan contains 38 full-page color samples, each 2-inches by 4.625-inches.  Both fan decks together provide the 692 colors that comprise AMS-STD-595A, and each is bound with a single heavy-duty fastener, allowing the samples to be easily fanned out for comparison purposes.

Note: Fan Decks should NOT be used QC or Inspection purposes -- that is the job of individual color chips.
